I've decided finally to fully expand my house but I'm struggling to decide on rooms. I want it to be like a generic house so I'm going to have a bedroom upstairs, a kitchen and a bathroom. I'm not having a basement so that leaves two rooms.. The main one and the one on the left...

For the left room I thought of maybe making a library?

The main room is a problem though because it's the first thing you see, it has so many doorways out of it and it's big.. I really don't know what to do with it!

If you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!

It might be difficult to make it look cosy though, that's my only issue. I might look around some dream towns and see what people have done :)

You could make the living room a large living room with a dining area, and line the walls with stuff like bookcases. That would make it look smaller :)

Make it a cozy room!
Fireplaces, Couches, Coffee, Sketchbook, etc.

Once you have decided on a theme you can always PM
me for ideas on what should go in it!

Thank you :) I like the idea of using bookcases to make it a little bit smaller. I'll try to make it cosy then, I'll have a fireplace, the red sofas/armchair, TV, plants and a little writing corner ^^

I've been redecorating my house on my main towns mayor and I have like a tailor shop type thing in my main room, the left room is a cute little girly bedroom (no specific set just girly items), the right room I'm turning into a fancy tea room, the back room is getting turned into a kitchen/bakery (mixing in the sweets set), my basement is a picture gallery of my villagers/past villagers, and then my upstairs is like a luxury bathroom mix of the princess series and weeding day furniture.

decorating your house depends on what feel youre going for. most people seem to have a kitchen, bedroom, library/study, maye a garden/green room and/or a spa/bathroom. some towns with a specific theme may have shops, hotel lobby, school room, etc etc

Firstly, congrats on having a house with realistic rooms. Houses with rooms that have simply been filled with a set annoy me so badly... Where's the creativity? D:

My house will include a bathroom, a kitchen, a master bedroom, a private study, a living room and/or possibly a greenhouse. I say this because I'm unsure of whether I would prefer I separate living area or incorporate it into the awkward entrance room, or vice versa with the greenhouse.
