Help me choose between villagers

In my town I have two unwanted villagers, so two spots open for new ones! But I'm still thinking which two I'm getting in ;/

The reason I want your opinion is because I'm afraid I'll have too many normal villagers and also too many girls. Not that I mind but I'm afraid it will be a little boring not having enough variation. What are your thoughts on this?

Also, Marty and Etoile are easy to get in with the new sanrio cards coming up. The other two could be quite hard!

I'd definitely replace one of the two with Marty. You're definitely lacking male villagers, who have their own specific personalities, therefore your variety in town is lacking even more. And I'd probably pick Etoile or Lolly, because you don't have any cats or sheep in town, however they're both normals. You don't need another snooty either though, so if it HAS to be between those 3 girls, then they would be my choices.

Good luck with this though, I just recently decided to swap out 4 of my villagers myself, and I can't even swap one of them out for a dreamie until my Sanrio Cards arrive some time next month. l really want Chai. As much as I love Etoile, I needed a Peppy, not a third normal lol. Chai is really great too though hehe I actually love to drink Chai irl.

Thanks for your opinion. I definitely thought Marty is an essential. Especially because he's also very cute I do have a cat though, Ankha, but no sheep. Do you recommend any other male villagers?

Oh you're right, duhhh. I can't believe I didn't see Ankha lol. I could recommend other male villagers, but it's easier to tailor my suggestions to your liking if I have something to go on. Any particular personalities you're fond of? Seeing as how you're probably going to adopt Marty. I would recommend adopting one other male villager (Specifically a Jock), or you could even stop after Marty. I like to go 50/50 on male and female villagers, but there's nothing wrong with going 40/60 lol! You can still get one of every male personality, and then have all of the female personalities, plus two duplicate personalities. There's 8 personalities.

Right now, you only have 3 of the female personalities, so I might suggest you find a peppy. That's how I keep my town diverse, or try to at least. I make sure I have at least 1 of every personality, and I'm trying to eradicate my village of species duplicates. You have 3 of the male personalities, between the villagers you want to keep and Marty.

I really, really don't like jocks, mainly because it's always sports talk and I'm not really fond of that. I do want more males, I feel like all the girls get a bit boring at times. So I'm glad I was able to adopt Marshal. I also like Felyne, but that's another lazy lol. Just like Marty. I am so confused actually, but I do tend to like the smugs and lazies.

If you want more males, than you're definitely gonna have to have multiples of the same personality lol! I am also a fan of smugs and lazies. They're precious~ If you don't like jocks though, then maybe you should adopt another male alongside Marty. But if you're just adopting another male, and the personality doesn't matter much (as long as it isn't jock), I say pick whoever you want! If it's felyne then it'll be felyne. There are so many male characters to choose from though. You may wanna also check out the returning 50 villagers. Some people are getting them early.
