Help is greatly appreciated <3 Need to start playing again!

Here's the story:
well long story short I kept having pesky neighbors move into my backyard so i kindve gave up on playing after like 6 months! but omg i soo did not want to stop playing. So anyways now! i moved to florida and have my nintendo ds again and i really wanna start my town back up!!! See the thing was i had all of my favorite characters and had worked so hard on my town and it would be really sad to start over and loose julian beau fang and all of the loves of my life... so i really need to know the trick as to how i can start playing again and arrange the time in order so that i can still be left with my town with the neighbor in my backyard and everything else that it was with beau fang and julian and tiffany and such town arrangements.. simply someway without loosing anything!!! <333 i really hope that its possible and i had to come back to the amazing belle tree forums to find out! <3 i really hope that somebody... anybody, can help little old me and i will return the favor and grant you a wish of great magic!!! this wish is to help you & your town in some way.. <3 thank you for reading this!!!! appreciated much indeed. <3freaking out i absolutely cannot restart my game omg i really cannot i need to know a way to leep all my be loved ones and house and well everythingggg!! OOOO My garsh oh gosh<3 i cannnnntttt wait to start playing againnnn and i know if i start now that everything will be changed and my characters will have moved because its been so long!!!! please help <3 SOS​

The rest of your things (like items) should be intact when you start playing again, they don't vanish over time. The only things that you may have some trouble with are the weeds and bed hair. Do you have the Beautiful Town ordinance?

here you say 5. Go to your 3DS settings and adjust the calendar to the date you last played. This will trick the game into thinking that you're still on the date you last played. NOTE: If you can't remember when that was, check your 3DS activity log.

well... my ads activity log only goes to 1/1/2011... and i still have no records of the last time i played animal crossing because it was before 1/1/12011 oh my shoot.. what in goshes name do i do now? anicking:

If you're not sure about what was the last day you played, you could time travel back to a day that you're sure is before that. Like set the year to 2005. No matter how far you travel backwards in time, the game only counts one day that has passed.

I've replied to this in the other thread. Are you talking about your 3DS activity log saying that you last played in 2011? Did you just have the wrong date on your 3DS? Because otherwise it's not possible that you played ACNL in real life in 2011, it was released in 2012/2013.
