Help in planning my town

so I finally got a villager to suggest the police station and although I was quite sure about where I wanted it before, I feel quite iffy about it right now



where I am standing is where I had planned to place the police station. the yellow part is where I had placed two benches and am planning to make a small garden there. the light blue part is where I plan to place a fountain in the future and the dark blue part is the rough outline of the greenery surrounding the fountain. the orange parts are where I might be making forests, I already planted trees but I'm not sure if I would be keeping them. the red part is roughly where I would be placing the cafe in the future and there is a lighthouse where the path leads down to the beach.

I need some suggestions as to where I should place my police station instead and maybe even my cafe since they look really out of place where I plan to place them. I'm also planning to place a well in the orange area to the right.

I'm not sure if you're able to do this but I always place my cafe beside retail and the police station beside the town hall~

Your plan sounds fine to me! Maybe you could put the police station a little closer to the train station? It'd also look great between the town hall and Re-tail if you're not planning to keep the villager there. I like your planned cafe placement, I put my cafe next to my beach entrance too, it just seems fitting.

The villager between my town hall and re-tail is Alli and yes I want her to go. I think I will wait until she leaves and build the police station there. Might be building the cafe a little higher up so that it isn't as isolated from everything else.
