Help, I’m having trouble with blathers in new update

I have the 1.2 update downloaded, yet blathers still won’t mention art gallery. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have to donate a certain amount?

If you mean Blathers saying he;s applying for the museum expansion you have to get a painting from Redd first, give it to blathers and then once he accepts it he'll say he's going to apply for museum expansion, the next day (today for me) your museum will be under renovation

I’ll try this, I think I only have around 40 donations atm
