Help identifying this shelf?

I visited a Dream Address yesterday to pick up a path pattern, but I wandered into a house and found a shelf I don't recognize. Can anyone tell me what this is? Is it something that is customized? They were kind enough to put two, so you can see both the back and the front in the picture. I hope that makes it easy for someone to identify. Thanks!

Oh! It is! And it's part of the mad scientist set according to moridb. I actually thought it was going to be an amazing machine until I got close enough to see the shelves, so that makes perfect sense. I have this in my catalog, but I sold it without ever looking at it. Thanks!
