Help! I need ideas!

So a day or two ago my 3DS fell off my desk and crashes every time I turn it on with wifi. I decided to open it up and look to at it and all, but didn't have the correct tools to get farther and put it back together. So I can play on it without wifi for a week, but then I need to know how to fix the fact that it reset my game to January 1st, 2012.

I would love to just TT, but I just bought a dreamie and I have many more in my town. I am considering time traveling maybe a few days at a time, but I would like to know if anyone else has any better ideas (Or if this is the only way).

Have you logged onto the game since the date changed? The date most likely changed because of the system (mine did that before), but if you don't boot up the game then you can fix it in the settings .

I already started the game sadly, but I am taking it apart in a week again since I am fixing it then. Would it still work if I did it then?

I'm pretty sure the system clock doesn't have as bad an effect as the in-game clock, but I don't want to be the reason your dreamie moves away! I'd just TT forward a few days at a time, I mean going from 2012 isn't too bad just make sure you have the beautiful town ordinance in place
