Nintendo will only restore an island if the console was damaged or lost/stolen. Its dumb.

Sure it does! It is Nintendo, they never make sense. For some reason, they just want to treat our save data like some sacred relic that has to be under a combination lock and key and said combination code is the reasons I mentioned. Its dumb.
