Help! How do you paint lips?

I'm trying to get better at painting, but I have literally no idea how to paint the lips!

The upper lip is the most important part when painting the lips. The upper lip faces downwards so it catches a shadow. The bottom lip faces upwards so it does not, but it creates a small shadow just underneath it.

Lips are also usually a little wet so don't forget the highlight. Lemme draw an example picture for you, hold on a moment I'll edit it in.
