(Help) choosing last 5 villagers

I'd like a group of villagers that look good together in a villager preview (signature sprites) but I just cannot decide who I want, there are so many cute villagers to choose from!

I do have a list of villagers I want in my town for sure and a list of potential villagers.

Villagers<3: Stitches, Fuana, Erik, Vesta, Tangy

So that's 5 villagers, half way done... Some other potential villagers would be:

Lolly
Rosie
Rudy
Poppy
Maple
Marina
Zucker
Whitney
Diana
Biskit
Marshal
(Other suggestions?)

I'd like a max of 3 of one personality type (3 normals, 3 peppys etc) and the last 5 villagers to be something like this:

6. Snooty
7. Smug
8. Jock / cranky
9. Normal / Peppy / Lazy / Smug
10. Normal / Peppy / Lazy / Smug

Hmm..... I would say

Whitney, Marshal, Rudy, Marina, Biskit. It goes in line with what you wanted for personalities and it gives you a variety of different species.

Hmmmmmm I'm very much considering the following lineup:

Whitley - Snooty (gotta have a wolf)
Stitches - Lazy
Fuana - Normal
Rudy - Jock
Erik - Lazy
Vesta - Normal
Lolly - Normal
Biskit (or Zucker) - Lazy
Marshal - Smug
Tangy - Peppy

Right now I wish I could have 11 villagers to have both Zucker and Biskit <3 Idk much about Zucker other than they're a cute chocolate OCTOPUS<3 but I know Biskit has a nice house exterior and is a cutie plus I never have dog villagers in my town... So it might be a nice change to have one for once...

Huh, I like your thinking <3 I was thinking something similar to that but have Lolly instead of Marina... Marina might be the better choice though since I would already have 2 cat villagers and they're both normal personalities... Plus she's an OCTOPUS<3

Good luck deciding! Also I thought Zucker was some kind of chocolate dessert when I first saw him as well but he's actually not he's based off Takoyaki. It's basically dough filled with chopped up octopus and covered in Takoyaki sauce. It's quite disturbing actually.

Here's my suggestion:
Stitches, Fauna, Erik, Vesta, and Tangy as the five you've already chosen.
Whitney (Snooty)
Marshal (Smug)
Rudy (Jock)
Marina (Normal)
Biskit (Lazy)

OR

Lolly (Normal)
Zucker (Lazy)

Since you mentioned species variety, going with Marina and Biskit would be my first choice. You already have a cat villager and octopus villagers are one of the best in my opinion. Plus Marina is too cute. But if you prefer Lolly over Marina, I would switch Biskit with Zucker so you still get an octopus. No matter Zucker's design origins, he's absolutely adorable and I love having him in my town.
