So i got Raymond in my campsite today.
I have already 10 villagers.
I have already talked to raymond to make him wanted to move, but when asking tom in the resident services he cames saying that theres no land so he cant move in.

it didnt say that other villager wants to move out or anything, keeps saying thath my islan its so popular that is full and wished he could live here.
is there a way to make him move in? why it didnt appear the random villager that wanted to move out like it says in the guides??

but he already asked to move in; but then says that resident services said it cant since theres no space

Keep going through that dialogue -- they will suggest someone to move out, which will make space for the visitor to move in!

I usually keep going, if that's didn't work I don't know..I haven't gotten any visitors lately, don't know what's that about.

After he says there is no space he should say, something about ‘would you be okay if I talked to someone here’. You have to say yes, and then he will suggest someone and you can reset the game or accept the person he suggests.

if you already got that dialog and responded no, you can still get him to move in by just talking to him again and again until he agrees. (But the villager he chose to move out will be locked)

Some villagers like to play hard to get! But they will always prompt you to move in eventually...
I don't know what happens if you say no tho

(But the villager he chose to move out will be locked)
Really? If he picked someone that I don't want to move away, I immediately closed the game. Before that I saved the game before talk to the villagers. That method works (well before the update)

But they said if you say "no"- not if you exit before replying. As long as you exit before you select a reply, they should suggest someone different. I got Maple that way!

And, yah, keep pestering him. He'll eventually suggest moving someone out!

Oh I didn't know that saying "no" will locked it, good thing I followed the directions! I got Reneigh from that method

Yah, it's weird 😕 At least there's a way around it, but it would stink if you didn't know about beforehand!
At the same time, in ACNL, if your town was full and you had a camper... you were totally out of luck and you couldn't invite them AT ALL. Nothing like seeing your favorite villager visit, but you're helpless to invite them in 😩

yes, what I was saying is if the original poster somehow finished the dialogue with Raymond about replacing another villager without noticing/ remembering and said no to him suggesting he replace a villager, then the choice is set. Once you say yes or no the choice is locked in.

I also use the reset method.

(edit- sorry I see many people already explained!)

I’ve never seen a version of the campsite interaction where they talk to Tom and there is no room but they don’t suggest that someone could move out. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist, since you seem very sure, but it seems like it is a rare/ unusual circumstance if it does happen. I’m hoping someone on here might know more than me. I will also do some google research.

Another similar thread I found here it turned out the person had miscounted their villagers and had 9, not 10. I know it is a long shot...but you definitely have 10?

sorry for all the replies, and questioning of your story, I just hate the idea of not being able to move in a villager you really want.
