Hi! It's cherrytowne (or my IGN William, if you'd like). I've known about the forums for a long time, but i've been unsatisfied recently with the monotony of social media and thought finally giving it a try would be fun! I've recently started a new town in New Leaf, Anytown.

I've been in love with the Animal Crossing series since... Well, forever honestly! My first game was Wild World IIRC, but New Leaf completely dragged me in and is still my favourite game of all time to this day. It's such a shame I don't have my original cartridge (lost it on a plane... sigh).

Like i'm sure is true of a lot of people here I got consumed by New Horizons during COVID, but my overall opinions of the game nowadays are more mixed and I don't return to it often. That's not to say I didn't thoroughly enjoy my time with it, though! I've played all the mainline games and spinoffs except the original N64 release.

My favourite villagers are Lobo, Hazel, Kitt, Vivian, and Zucker. My favourite furniture series are the exotic and cabana series.

Aside from Animal Crossing, i'm a fan of Splatoon, Fantasy Life, Professor Layton and Tomodachi Life.

Hello and welcome to TBT! I see you have quite the history with Animal Crossing. Sorry to hear you lost your original New Leaf cartridge. And yes, COVID was a primo time to play New Horizons (I tried the GameCube port of the original and New Leaf beforehand, by the way)!

Thank you very much! Even though COVID and that whole year was pretty awful, the community around that time was incredibly fun to interact with.

What would you say is your favourite game in the series? GCN, New Leaf and New Horizons are all really unique even if they're similar at their core.
