I just bought a 2DS with New Leaf yesterday. I used to play City Folk, before that I played Wild World and before that I played the Gamecube version.

Anyway, I would like to meet some people to play with. I put my code in my profile.

Do we receive friend requests through the console or do we have to pre-arrange it on here and add each other mutually like the other games?

I'm assuming you're new to the Nintendo 3DS family, correct me if I'm wrong? If so, welcome! I'd be more than happy to add you to my list of friends on my console. I am an active player (when I feel like it haha -- don't make that put you off mind). If you are confused as to how to add people's friend codes, it's quite simple! The home menu should appear with an orange face at the very top, if you click on that it should take you directly to your friend list where you will be able to add other player's friend codes. If you head over to the The Train Station (AC:NL Online) Board, there will be other players who are most likely seeking new friends to play with if you are interested. Hope this helps!
