Hi, nice to meet you people! My name's Molly & I just got Animal Crossing New Leaf the other day, I've been enjoying it quite a lot. I was looking for more guides and information on the game so that I could make better progress, and I found this forum! It looks like a lot of fun, and I've never really been a part of a forum community before, so I decided to join up ^^

So far, I have an island and a gardening shop. I'm looking forward to being able to change my appearance and add more buildings and shops. I did a little bit of time traveling (I set it forward and back again one day so that my Bell Boom Ordinance would activate! heehee) but for the most part I am trying to be patient and work through the game. My museum has 16 fossils, 10 insects, 21 different types of fish, and a painting I bought from one of my Villagers. Right now the Villagers I have are Scoot, Wolfgang, Bertha, Yuka, Biskit, Renee, Tammi, and Phil.

Sorry if that's a lot to read I thought I would let you know some about my town.

A little about me: I'm an Art student from California. I like video games, books, computers, linguistics/language and all sorts of animals. I start University on the 26th and I'm really excited! Anyway, nice to meet you guys!

Nice to meet you Sammy/Molly. Hope you enjoy AC:NL. Its a really fun game once you get deep into it. What type of art do you draw?

Thanks ^^ I'm already really enjoying it, so I'm sure I'll love it once I have more progress!
I usually draw kind of cartoony/anime-esque art. I've got a ways to go, but I'm trying to develop a good style. I'm sure when I start Art School I will be able to improve a lot. Before now it was mostly a hobby.
(I was going to link a sketch I'm working on but I forgot I have to post more first!)
