Hello Kitty Adventure Island

I would love to play with any other Steam/PC players :3
Feel free to DM me and we can work stuff out like times and availability :3

I haven't played religiously in a while.. but I still am really enjoying logging on daily ^^

I'll get the physical version for Switch next week, I know it wont be the same as AC but Im still excited! 😚

Bought a physical copy for my 2nd Switch and noticed some things have changed. A poster came with the game and the map on it shows a new area in the Icy Peak. Apple Arcade players got an update awhile ago and unlocked that area. They also mention good changes. The devs are working on an update for the Switch and PC to get us update except for the City.

One change I noticed was the Nature Preserve Quest for all the lists changed for the Nintendo Switch. Early release you needed tools or items to get some critter lists and it took along time to complete. Day 2 and I found all the critter lists.

Multiplayer is very easy and quick to use. Host was able to invite friends using the Nintendo friend list. Visitor checked their Nintendo profile and clicked on the online invite. Trading is fast with the gifting instead of dropping and picking up items. I was able to trade missing base flowers from Profile 1 and 2 on my main Switch.

Got the Deluxe Items earlier this time. Day 1 received Melody deluxe items. Day 2 received crafting and Seasonal Items bundles.
For the digital game I had to wait for a Level 7 Quest for the crafting and Comic Relief Quest and Level 11 Quest for the Seasonal Items.

Found out there are 27 different colours for each type of flower. I was able to get some ombre flowers to complete a Quest on my digital copy. I still have most of the deluxe items from Melody and crafting items. I've unlocked 8 cabins with extra rooms and have 158 strawberry crates.

Got the game this week but I had barely time to play much, just did a few of the early quests and explored a little the first area (also made a second character but not sure if I'll keep both or not)
At least until I'm less busy I can get the login bonus and check the daily furniture/clothes. 😅

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Update is April 29th for PC and May 22th for Switch.
12 new Cabin Visitors, more new Daily and Weekly Quests, 2 new flowers, more furniture to craft and win in mini games.
Ice Peak Expands after you reach requirements. It has puzzles, quests and new furniture to craft.

You can call friends to you and ask them for things.
Resource Stacking: Up to 3 days worth of most resources stack at a time. If don't play for a couple of days those items will be stacked when you log in.
Fixed the gifting feature to make it easier and mannequins can have more than one item.

I'm playing on the Switch and happy the PC/steam deck players don't have to wait. I prefer to have a game that isn't full of bugs/glitches. Right now I'm addicted to Flower Breeding.

Nice I have been waiting for some new content besides more event furniture/clothes. The resource stacking seems like it will be extremely helpful. Any idea if best friends will also be able to pick up 3 days worth of stuff? I've been trying to get into flower breeding but it seems so much more overwhelming compared to Animal Crossing.

I'd love to try it out, I wish there was a demo 😭 I am interested but I'm def not spending $60 on a game that I'm not even sure I'll like. maybe if the library gets a copy soon I'll borrow it and try it out.

what's everyone's experience with it in comparison to animal crossing?

I don't think best friends will pick up 3 days worth. The call feature is going to be helpful asking best friends to collect items.

Apple Arcade had an update last week and best friends can be assigned items to collect daily or all the time. You need to have the Island of the Spirit unlocked. I just completed that one on the Switch and it will be helpful to assign them one time and than not have to worry about asking daily.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure Wiki is very helpful with flowers. It's an official wiki.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure Discord is another good place for flowers. Players post their flowers all the time and answer players questions. Getting Ombre Flowers took awhile to figure out and than everything got easy, The Wiki has a chart showing how to get each flower colour.

Thanks for the clarification. Assigning best friends like that will be super helpful. I'll keep the flower tips in mind.

I love both games and both are unique experiences. There are some similarities in both; crafting, catching fish/bugs, planting flowers, decorating. Both games have lots to do everyday. It seems like there's not as much customization options in HKIA compared to AC. You can decorate a bunch of homes though. I also like the fact there's more than 10 friends on your islands, although the dialogue isn't as varied. I like the friendship levels which are similar to Pocket Camp. I like that HKIA has a bigger world and many quests to do.
