Hello! My name is Michi, and I've been playing Animal Crossing since its debut on the Gamecube. I have never played AC with anyone else besides my sister, and I'm admittedly a little freaked out about inviting "strangers" to my town. I'm also new to the whole friend code exchange...how does that work, exactly? We exchange codes and *poof!* we're "friends"? My friend code is over there...somewhere...

Anyway, back to lurkdom I go....

Hi Michi! Wells, once you've exchanged FCs & both individuals have registered the FCs- you're now both able to visit each other! Ask the Monkey Train staffer to open, or if you're going for a visit... & yes POOF, it's that simple! Enjoy the forum & feel free to post any further questions, Michi!

Welcome!

Having strangers visit your town is a little scary at first since you don't know them, but there is nothing to worry about! They can't destroy your town, figure out where you live in real life, or harm you or your character in anyway. Also, you choose who visits your town, just so you feel comfortable with them there. I suggest meeting some new friends here on The Bell Tree, and once you get to know them, then invite them to your town. That way, they aren't just some random stranger.
