When someone goes on tour on the international island, it saves automatically. That was a clever trick.

That's blacklisting, which only disables her from meeting one person again. They can still go to Club Tortimer. You've misread my post. I'm saying if 3 - 5 people blacklist her, she can be banned from the island for a while.
Read my post properly next time.

It's good that you managed to escape and get your stuff back.
But I guess I'm safe since I only go on club tortimer to check out the items in the store, I prefer to do tours alone.

I actually had a similar experience one time. I went to the island because I wanted to see if the pink wet suit was for sale. A girl was on the island at the time, but I thought nothing of her. I went over to the counter to ask to leave, but Leilani told me the waters were choppy or something, and that I wouldn't be able to. Then I looked over at the girl and noticed that she had her menu open, which would have prevented me from leaving. I told the girl that I needed to go to work (which was true), and I asked her to please close her menu. She closed it, I started walking over to the counter, and as soon as I reached the counter she opened her menu again. This went on for another five minutes or so, me telling her that I was going to be late for work, and her opening and closing her menu. Eventually, I realized I was just gonna have to turn of my 3DS, because I literally was running late at that point. So, being the mature adult that I am, I told her that she was a troll, and then I turned off my DS. I was really angry and appalled that someone would be so pathetic as to do something like that. She honestly enjoyed wasting her own time like that?! I just don't get it...

I've never had that happen. Sometimes I will hunt Beatles in the club because my island isnt always chuck full of bugs to catch. I'll keep my eyes peeled for stuff like that.

I have probably encountered more trolls on the island than most people.I find it entertaining.If I buy something, I always leave or start a tour right away, that way I don't lose them.I bug hunt on my own island.
I'm always polite to everyone on ct.But sometimes I have a little fun.
I once visited with my red ogre mask on.I grabbed an ax and chased the islanders yelling " KILL". Luckily the two people there had a good sense of humour.
Another time I grabbed pitfall seeds from a tour, then hid them behind flowers, trees, and bushes.This was too funny.Only one person got angry.lol.
Recently, I arrived and told this girl to give me all her money.She had a lot of bugs she didn't want to lose.She kept telling me "NO".About a minute later i told her i was kidding, and left her 5 bags of 99k.
Sometimes I go to ct and give the islander rare hats, blue roses, and at Christmas last year I gave some royal crowns.
I guess my point is...Lighten up people.Most of the trolls are young kids.Don't let them scare you.They are just having fun.Go have some fun right back at em.

Way early on when the game was first released in the US I've encountered a good number of annoying people when I was trying to make friends. One kept scaring away any bugs or fish I was after, then we went on a tour where they did everything they could to mess me up lmao. Eventually they did the "hostage" thing but I just switched off the WiFi. I'm not really sure what their aim was aside from being a 5 minute slight annoyance out of my day. Nowadays I rarely ever go on the island, sometimes if I'm really bored and just want to see what happens.

Yeah the menu choppy waters trap is a hard one to get out of unless you continuously keep trying because eventually you will slip through...but I have not used it in a while. May need to soon for those rarer items but am more equipped for it now instead of trying to make friends like at start.
And whoever said too much text, I found the story interesting and did not have trouble reading it. As to whoever said maybe someone with a lot of text or whatever was looking for TBT. I use these boards for help, for interaction with others, sharing stories ect. I am an Eng Lit major and writer so tend to be verbose and a bit older so don't do text writing. I have a ton of TBT but do not need it am not looking for more I want to be a community member and have loads of time. Only saying this as:
I felt sorry for the guy when heard that, myself I am disabled from a genetic thing won't go there but not a lot of people around all day can't work and really into the game and the board socialization so not everyone who likes to talk on posts or ask questions or tell a helpful story cares at all about TBT. I don't I am just alone sick in bed all day and it is nice to talk about the game or at the Brewsters or help others and what not. Short phrase: Sorry to original poster if someone's comment on your short story upset you.
