So Leif showed up in my town square today, and after buying some azalea bushes, he gives me the hedge DIY, which are only available during Earth Week, not to mention that Tom Nook gives it you when you talk to him, not Leif.

I have not time travelled whatsoever since playing early May, my date and time is connected to the internet under my system settings. As well, none of my friend's have time travelled either, so I have no idea what it going on? Do I have some glitch or file issue that is causing it? Has anyone else had this issue?

Maybe once Earth Day is over, Lief gives out the DIY instead of Tom Nook?

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to happen if you didn't get the Hedge DIY from Tom Nook during the Earth Week. This is so that you can get the recipe any time throughout the year without having to wait for thr next Earth Week if you missed it.

That makes a bit of sense, I started playing May 5th, the day after the event ended.
