so my last villager I got last night, Wolfgang, I've been plot resetting all last night and today... I did it right, went to 5:58 am reserved, then started new files yada yada... then all of a sudden he keeps showing up in the EXACT SAME SPOT at least 8 times in a row last night, and then the first 5 today... i thought I maybe screwed up, but then he just switched! I panicked so hard, and am so relieved! was a few resets, to believing i screwed up and just accepting it

any other weird plot reset stories or something like that

i made this when I found out he wasn't in that same spot... and I found him moved in right where I wanted him!!!

Yeah when I was trying to plot reset Freya I think 18/20 time she kept picking the exact same spot. It wasn't "Perfect" but I got fed up and said "Fine.... just take that spot then..........".

happened with Blanche for me. she plotted in the same spot 9 times out of 10 and the other places were just awful. I got fed-up so I just left her plot there. it's not terrible but it's not ideal either!

it happens. though don't even bother the whole 5:58am thing. If you get a villager just TT a day forward and make a new character and plot reset.

I think you have to go to 5:58 then let it become a new day, cause if you time travel to the next day as your mayor then the plot is already decided... you have to time travel right before the "new day", let it pass into the new day... I've always done it this way and had it work tremendously well

This is true! They may have been referring to time travel using the 3DS clock however, but I personally find that more difficult.

yeah.... mine still isn't right from daylight savings... let alone messing with it for Animal Crossing

Dang i made a post at school like a little while after i saw this but it didn't go through. Julian literally plotted 8 times in the same spot until making a big jump somewhere else (not where i wanted him) then finally after a good 15 more times, he plotted perfectly in line with Chevre. I've only had 2 animals in my history of plot resetting plot perfectly the very first time (Papi and Beau)

I got so tired of villagers choosing a certain spot to put their houses. Now my town is over run with fire hydrants. I was getting sick of plot resetting, so i put fire hydrants in all the places i didn't want a villager.It was very helpful, but now i have to tear them all down.lol.

I was expecting a random move-in today in Twinleaf so I kept resetting. The first two plotted in horrible places (first on top of my paths and bushes, second on top of my hard-grown hybrids ) Then after a few refreshes I wasn't getting any plots at all. I was just about to give up until I tried one last time and I found a plot set perfectly in my little residential area. *Gets ready to roll out the welcome mat for Marshal*

The only thing I hate is that there were so many refreshes in between where no one showed up. More than once in the past I reset like 10 times and no plot, then I load up my mayor and there's a plot. And it's usually an undesirable in a horrible spot. -_-
