Having had a glowing spot since late May.

I had a playground with the sand pattern and the glowing spot would always spawn there. But since then I turned it into a cafe instead and used the wood pathing. Ever since then, no glowing spot has appeared on my island. I have plenty of areas where trees can grow.

Anyone have any idea why the glowing spot won't spawn anymore?

If it always spawned in the same area, without looking I guess your island does not have a lot of other spots where it could go. If you say you have spots where you could put trees, though, then it should be somewhere.

Are you sure those spots aren't covered by patterns? Also, did you check behind buildings and cliffs?

mine dissappeared for weeks too. just started appearing again the last couple days, so not sure whats up with that
