Haven't seen Gracie in months! [Help!]

Gracie visited my little sister's town yesterday, and successfully did the fashion check. This morning, she got extremely lucky and got her to visit a second time? She told me she TT a day forward and then a day back I think? I suppose that helped? However, once she successfully did the fashion check for a second time, she TT ahead or something and she got the last store expansion?! How? She only did the fashion check twice, how was she able to get it? I thought it was 4 times. I'm so confused. ; ;

I did it twice myself but I haven't seen Gracie in about 2-3 months now. What the heck! I'm so annoyed right now. Both of my sisters were able to get the last expansion before me, even though I started playing the game MONTHS before they did! Ugh, WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME GRACIE.

Anyone got any tips, maybe? I would love to have her visit again sooner. I don't want to wait anymore.​

I don't think I can honestly. It wouldn't may any sense to do a fashion check in someone else's town.

If it's been awhile in the past I have gone into TIY and bought everything in the store.

Other people have done the same and Gracie has shown up in the next few days.

And I don't know if it is a coincidence but I just did the Welcome Amiibo update and Gracie showed up for the first time ever in this town!!

So maybe her odds of arriving have been altered. We can only hope!

Gracie shows up at random, sometimes she'll visit 4 times in a month, sometimes she'll show up months or weeks apart. the tt'ing trick does work though. once she shows up again, finish the fashion check then tt a day forward and then tt back to the day she showed up. she should be there again and the fashion check should be a new theme!
