Haven't had any campers in over two weeks?

Ever since the snow came a few weeks ago I haven't had any campers and I'm pretty sad about that cause I've been really looking forward to seeing the igloo in my town. At first I thought it was because I had ten villagers in my town and because Zell, the last villager who moved in, was obtained from the campsite. Greta moved out shortly after Zell moved in so I'm confused as to why I haven't had anyone in my campsite for so long. Is it because Zell hasn't moved out? I'm really regretting getting him to move in now since his house destroyed my back garden.

But yeah has this ever happened to anyone else? Is there something that caused it or is it just a coincidence? I know the campsite thing is a random occurrence but I've gone from getting campers at least every second or third day to getting none. Some insight if anyone has any would be much appreciated!

In one of my old towns, I only got one camper. D:
I had the town for nearly a month.

It's not a coincidence, just bad luck I guess.

I had a period of not having any campers for about 3 weeks or more.

I didn't have one 'til about 5 days ago. And my last camper before that had been 3weeks before. So they can take a while

I get a camper about once a month, no matter how many villagers I have. I think it's pretty much random.

Aw man it kinda sucks how that can happen. Like a month with only one camper is pretty bad, its almost a waste of bells! :/

Oh well hopefully our luck will improve soon!

A person's move in from the campsite has nothing to do with anything.
If you think no campers in your main for two weeks is bad, try having a cycling town stuck on 8 villagers (no one can move out, you either have to wait for a camper or a random move-in) for three weeks. UGH!

I went from having no camper for about 3 weeks to having 3 in 4 days. It's totally random.

I've had the campsite for around 6 months now. I've seen 3 campers in total. :/

One day i had 4 campers in a row... on 4 consecutive days, when i was full
Other times ive had to wait 2-3 weeks -.-

If you time travel, there is less chance of a villager appearing, so keep that in mind.

Funny you mention time travel, while I'm at school I dont play until the weekends and thats when I time travel day by day to catch up and not miss anything. While I did that I got campers. Since I've stopped time travelling over the holidays I haven't got any! Time travel never seemed to affect me unless I'm paying the price for it now
