Have you noticed that the colors of star net, colorful nets and other tools that were being sold in Nook's Cranny are set in stone

I've visited other islands for Able Sisters and candy and I've noticed something different about colored nets and other tools compared to what is sold on my island. Did anyone else noticed this detail?

Yes! Everyone has set colors of the tools sold in their shops, just like with furniture! It's a cute detail imo. :]

Yup! I have to wonder what factors (if any) go into your sets...I have pink colorful and blue outdoorsy sets on Arctin and orange colorful and green outdoorsy sets on Evwirt.

I like the locked sets but then I got stuck with the yellow star nets and I really prefer the pink ones T.T But among other things, I got stuck with the yellow diner set too, my nooks is tragic.

Good point, It's great to have customization options open for the colorful tools that are considered "default" color were sold in Nook's Cranny.

It’s nice to be able to obtain the other colors period but at the same time I wish that I could just buy the white colorful set (my favorite set) outright without having to travel...

Oh! I never noticed this before! I assumed they were all the same colours for everybody!

Huh, I didn't know that! I knew that you could customize the color, but not that each island had their own separate colors.

I like that they give our islands more personality, and we can still customize them if we want. I wish this was the case for more of the furniture in the game

I hadn't seen anyone else's shop before, so I didn't know. However, I was wondering why the ones I could buy were not in the default color when I went to customize them.

You can just customize them. I normally customize mine to pink or light blue. I never noticed that the default was different based on your island, though! I just figured there was one default version.

I just recently realized this when I went to another persons island and they had the pink elephant watering can, while mine has always been the blue one. I’m glad we can customize it and it’s not entirely set in stone, but at the same time it would have been nice if my default color was pink instead of having to customize it every time.

i noticed that a while ago! i don’t shop on other people’s islands very often but i always like popping into nook’s cranny and seeing different tool variations! i’m lowkey highkey jealous of those who get the yellow and blue elephant watering cans; i’ve been trying to craft my tools as of late but those are adorable c’:

I had noticed this! it's a little annoying if you get stuck with a colour you're not a fan of tho because it's a bit of a waste to customise tools in my opinion because they Break all the Time. if we had indestructible tools then I could understand making them super custom and actually putting effort into having a matching set etc.

You can customise the tool again for it not to break. You will have to manually estimate if the tool is about to break though.

I managed to get a purple star net when visiting an island and it is gorgeous. Scared to use it as it will break and u can’t get another

I'm glad they are customizable, I can use which ever colors for decoration purposes and that's nice. The set default color that's sold at Nook's doesn't really matter to me as I end up breaking them eventually. But I am happy that my outdoorsy set is yellow, it's a nice natural color scheme I get to see often.

I did the same thing, I was very sad when it broke!
