It was by the plaza at first. Then I started working on my island and move it northwest of the island. Then I moved it down onto the beach because I need to work on stuff northwest of the island. When I move my house again, hopefully it'll be the last time I do.
I originally planned out my island, but later decided to redo the whole thing. However, the area around my house was the only thing I was happy with, so I've never moved my house, and I'm not planning to.
I had it located on the southeast beach because I knew I was gonna move it and this way it would be out of the way for decorating. Now I’ve moved it southwest on a second level in its own little cute area and right in front of the staircase for it are my two favorite villagers, Ankha and Lucky I don’t plan on moving it again.
Yup. Initially it was a bit above the resident services area, but then I moved it up on the highest part of my island since the location in DAI was on a mountain. From time to time I have regretted that decision like when I have a full inventory of stuff I want to put in my storage.
I've moved my house multiple times. I'm happy where it is now on the cliffs. It's a little slow to get to the airport, but that's fine with me. Originally, my house was near a river and it prevented me from putting a bridge where I wanted one.
Currently, my house resides on my east bottom beach, and because I have double south rivers the beach is super small. I'm gonna finish most of my island before picking a place for my house, but honestly, I'm so used to where my house is I might just keep it there (and a bonus is that it's super close to the Residental Service Building and Airport, meaning trading is really easy.)
My house used to my with my villagers in a neighborhood until I realized that my house is wider and wouldn't fit with the 10 other houses. I then put it in the back of the island, but then moved it to where is it now in a more central area, so getting places is more convenient for me.
Yes, i've probably moved it over 4 times at this point I believe. I'm probably not going to move it anymore though, or at least not for a good while anyway, since I like where its at right now. Plus, from personal experience I know that moving buildings around starts to drain my in game bells real fast, so it's not something I want to be doing very often. Right now it's on a tier 3 cliff in the exact middle of my island, right at the back, and it has 4 sets of stairs leading up to it with a waterfall on it. I'd have to find a really good reason to move it, because I put a lot of work into it's current area, and would have to do a lot of terraforming and incline removing to fix it.
Nope! I have liked where it is since the start. Plus, it would be such a hassle to move everything surrounding it (fencing, flowers, paths, designs, etc)
I’ve moved twice. The first was just so that I would be right on the river and have room to decorate, though I didn’t really end up decorating much anyway.
The second time was some time after I unlocked the terraforming feature. I had finally finished getting all my villagers’ houses in a row to make a street of sorts, and then I put my own house right at the end.
My main house I only moved once- I knew where I wanted to put it as soon as I saw my island, and only moved it the one time because I couldn't access the area originally. My side characters, though, have been moved a lot. As of right now... I'm pretty happy with where everyone's house is. But chances are I'll change my mind at some point again
But THANK GOD you can move houses in this game! I'd have to delete characters and recreate them in ACNL when I realized their houses didn't work. Now I only have to do that when I want to change their names
I moved it just once. I had a plan going in from the beginning and I pretty much have stuck to it. Whether that was a good decision is up for debate, but here we are.
Started on the first tier, but after I built inclines I moved it all the way to the top tier of my island. Now it’s blocking the secret beach and Redd so currently deciding where I should move it to get it out the way. Got a lot of thinking and terraforming to do. T_T
