Have you lost a villager accidentally?

I had Bubbles in my town and she was the only peppy.
I enjoyed her since she was not really pretty, but did her best to act cute and funny.

However, my 3DS XL was acting up, probably due a damage suffered after falling in the asphalt during a theft attempt.

The robber went in his bike and casted aside upon realizing it wasn't a mobile.

After sometime of use, my 3DS started to turn off at random and luckily never turned off when it was saving or loading a file.

The last time which I saw Bubbles was when Katie appeared for the first time.
In the next day my 3DS XL was no longer working.

So, I sent the 3DS XL for maintenance and went to play New Leaf in another 3DS which was available at the shop just to track my activities.

However, that system had the time incorrectly and I don't noticed Isabelle's information about the date and time before loading.

Upon loading I was shocked that my villager had the hair messed up and Bubbles sent a message giving farewell with her photo attached.

I moved on from Bubbles and got new villagers that I don't think about having her again.

That town was in the DA... until the update happened.

Before the dream address was completely removed, I had a pwp sitting on top of the spot her house use to be.

In my main town, I lost Coco a while ago. I'm glad the update is a thing now since it'll be easier to bypass the 16 villager cycle to reunite with old villagers. I've debate on getting her back to my town but I have 3 other normal villagers so 4 would be pushing it too much imo. ^^;

But hey, if any of my other villagers moved out on accident, I'd be able to get them back. Thank god the game has way more advance for villagers moving now. <3

I lost quite a few loved villagers when I first started playing and didn't know how moving mechanics worked. Daisy, Dotty, and Bunnie to name a few

Yes! I liked Cousteau a lot and I lost him when I tried time traveling the first time.

during a hiatus I lost my fav villager at the time monty :/ I actually cried when I realized he moved out

I also lost Phoebe, Fauna, Flurry, Marina, and many others.
But I cycled out villagers and sacrificed dreamies to get Flurry and Marina back. ^^

Awhile ago I lost Molly from time traveling so much.
I recently started back up ACNL and lost another one of my villagers, Chief,
Now Im wondering if I have had enough villagers move in to have Molly back or not

In my first town way back at release, I TTed two days in advance and lost Walt AND Ruby despite it only being two days and at the time I would always talk to my villagers, so much they would be annoyed with me. So I think it was a glitch since no one mentioned either of them thinking of moving.

In that same town I didn't play for a few weeks and lost Skye. I also tried to TT Mathilda and Stinky out for adoption but TTed to there moving date, not the day they were in boxes. So I couldn't do the adoption and ending up voiding them by accident. I didn't understand the mechanics as well back then since all of these moments happened in my first town within a month of me buying the game.

Probably many more from years past in AC:GC/WW/CF.

Yes. Marina 3 times, teddy, Diana, Fuschia, Whitney, erik, fauna and flora I believe.
I have done 16 villager cycle for nearly all of them in the past lol

i've lost a lot of villagers accidentally but the one i mostly regret is kyle ;-(
