Have you kicked out a villager using an amiibo card?

Just getting an idea of people who have yet <:
I tried once my town hit that 10 limit to kick out a poorly placed villager abut the new villager moved into the exact same spot so I'm a little hesitant to try again

I think the 16 villager cycle doesn't matter with the cards, so you can try to just kick them out and move them back in right? I'm not sure but I'm assuming you can.
Also plot resetting saves a lot of time/stress.

i have. you can plot reset the amiibo card villager for future reference, although some people report them liking to try to move into the space where the other villager lived, hahah. mine actually didn't!

I haven't yet, but as soon as I get a couple of characters I want I'm kicking a bunch out.

Well, I moved one into a new town using the amiibo card and have been trying to get them to move back out through TT so I can replot them but they haven't spawned the ping at all yet despite my efforts so I'm unsure if they're more difficult to move back out

Ahh so it is possible to kick one out and for the new one to spawn in a new spot, that's very good to know

why not use another amiibo card to kick them out, then move them back in with the original card?

That's what I'm trying but the issue is placement. Whoever I replace them with is really fond of moving into the exact same spot haha. I keep restarting hoping they'll move elsewhere

Ahh just as I posted that, this restart resulted in them spawning where I wanted them to, awesome :'D
