For the longest time I would scan Amiibo cards to see if I could get DIYs. But then a while ago I decided to stop to see what random campers I would get once a week.
I've gotten the following villagers so far:
Bunnie
Jitters
Spike
Leonardo
Francine
Curt
Curlos(my original camper who I was forced to take in.)
Out of them all the one ones I could consider having move to my island would be Bunnie and Francine.
I got 2 that i liked to join my island fauna and sterling. sterling came just at the right time as I needed a jock on my island again to complete the reactions
Other than my forced smug villager (Graham), I've only taken in Agnes. Purrl visited once, but I already had another snooty cat, so I didn't invite her.
yup, I've found some from the campsite that are now permanent residents, including Fang and Diana. I've found some other popular ones from there as well like coco, lucky or Julian but wasn't very interested in them o:
I don't really recall many of them, however I did get Marshal the other day and invited him to live on my island. If I decide later that I don't want him on my island, it would be easy enough for me to move him out with an amiibo card but it would be very hard to get him again due to the popularity I think, so I decided not to pass this time.
Actually yes I have, but only a few. Usually the majority of the ones I find are pretty bad, and also for some reason tend to be gorillas more often than not, although i'm not sure why . However, I got probably my second favourite villager so far, Marshal, from my island's campsite! Before this, I didn't actually like him all that much, and only invited him because I thought I could sell him for a decent amount. As time passed though, I slowly started to like him more and more, and now he's definitely irreplaceable on my island. I have also gotten Judy & Dom from the campsite, and I was able to sell Dom for I believe something crazy like 800 TBT back in the earlier days, since I kind of fell out of love with him after I found Bam. Judy is still on my island, but that's only because i've been too lazy to TT her out and go island hopping for her replacement.

Broncolio, Chops and One more that I cant remember because I ran as soon as i saw him... They were all misses. So one hit three misses :/
I got my permanents Fuchsia and Felicity from the campsite! Couldn't be happier.
I remember needing an permanent uchi in early game (sorry Cherry, ily but you weren't my type), and I said Fuchsia was probably my most favorite out of the them. Lo and behond, Fuchsia showed up in my campsite not too soon
forgot tangy actually visted me, was gonna get her, but she wanted me to get rid of whitney and at that time i didn't know the turn off the game trick to get them to choose someone else, so I told her to take a hike
Lionel (first camper, not bad, he grew on me a lot and looked cute wearing the clothes I gave him and singing all over town.)

I feel like I am forgetting someone. But I feel I have very good campsite luck, and I really love the campsite and how it works in the game as another fun way to sporadically meet new random villagers.
Hmmm I had some good villagers sometimes but to be honest I can't remember them all haha. Except for Beau which I really like but I dind't invite him because I got Erik with my first 3 plots. Oh and Phoebe ofcourse and she stayed. I needed a big sister on my island and I was in doubt to choose between Phoebe and Plucky. So when I saw Phoebe it wasn't very hard to choose and she is still on my island
