Have you got a parent who plays New Leaf?

When we used our Wii more, my mom loved the game Elebits. She'd say up trying to beat the game and progress to the next level even though the later levels made her feel dizzy. She's also at level 99 of Bakery Story and like, level 700 of this one candy game (that isn't Candy Crush, can't remember the name).

She isn't into Animal Crossing though, I think she prefers games which have levels/pre-made goals or challenges that she can pick up for a couple minutes at a time when she's out and about and doesn't have to think too much about it.

My six year old grandson introduced me to ac:nl last April. After I borrowed his game on his 2DS for a couple weeks, he gave it to me and I bought a used 3DS XL. (silver-The Year of Luigi 30th) I have almost 1500 hours of play. I'm pretty sure I have played every day except one. My family is amused. I would not have believed a year ago that I would be playing this, or any, game on a hand-held device! (My grandson is now saving up for a new copy of ac:nl. My daughter won't let me buy it for him.) He wants me to upgrade it for him when he gets it. I assure him that I will. :)
