Have you ever really liked a villager, but hated the house they lived in?

I really liked Static, but didn't like the dumpy house he lived in xD Not a huge fan of modern or sleek furniture either, and that's all that was ever in his house. Vice versa, I liked Curt's house a lot, but not him.

I actually don't have a preference to how my villagers houses look! I just like the villagers themselves. I think its super cute to give them lots of gifts too and see what they put up in their rooms and send you back and whatnot.

Yes! I love Gaston to pieces, but his house interior is atrocious! What is this??? It looks like a confinement cell from Guantanamo Bay!

Sadly I can't change the wall or floor or the fact he plays KK Dirge all the time, but I have started giving him pieces of the Lovely furniture series to brighten his living space and he seems to be enjoying that.

If you mailed a carpet or wallpaper in Wild World, they would change it. Not so in New Leaf.

same here-- i really got to enjoy Gaston, but was sick of his house! no matter how many times i gave him nicer furniture or wallpaper/flooring he would always wind up keeping the ramshackle look. i finally let the dude move out!

Frank. I loved Frank and really liked his house exterior, but absolutely hated his interior. It looked like a gym. It was awful. I know in older games he used to be a jock, but he's a cranky now and they need to update his house.

I really love Wart Jr but his house is gross- I mean, his indoors is just fine but his home exterior, ugh.

Yes, I love my villager Apollo, but his house is utterly hideous (I am partly to blame though, since I didn't really care what furniture went into his house when I first started playing. I regret everything).

Kid Cat. His house looks so scrappy, I always got the urge to call him "Kid Scrap". Such a shame, Kid Cat's such a cutie pie and he could easily be one of my favorite villagers, but his house is just... yuck.

I'm not a fan of Mira's house exterior, either.

Well, I have the most experience with my own villager's houses and the only one I sort of dislike is Tia's. The rest of my villager's houses have a lot of personality and I feel like Tia's house is so plain. Not ugly, just boring.

I can't think of anyone specific right now, but I hate it when the houses don't look like houses you know... rusty wallpaper and barrels.

I adore all my villagers and their houses tbh :-D but Kid Cat's house design does become troublesome at times since it doesn't fit in with anything in my town, but I love him regardless! He's my absolute favorite along with Julian and Fang ♡♡♡
