This is why I turned off the 3D function on my 3DS. I know, defeats the whole purpose, but it just makes me unwell.

No, I've never felt dizzy playing a game, nor nauseous nor have I ever gotten a seizure. Even when I play for 8 hours at a time, I've never suffered any such symptoms. You might want to go check with a doctor though if you are experiencing those things, that's not good...

Also I haven't felt nauseous but repetitive tasks in this game make me extremely sleepy even in the middle of the day.

Only if I play too much in the car. I'm not sure why, but playing video games while something is kind of moving doesn't sit with me well.
