Have you ever crashed a town?

Have you ever just went to a town without invitation?

I just did actually, I was waiting for someone to open their gate for a trade, and as soon as a town showed up I selected it without realizing it wasn't the right persons town. The the guy who owned the town I crashed was very understanding.

So what about you?

No, but my friends have crashed me plenty of times while I'm trying to do a trade. It's so annoying! I recommend not doing it unless its a best friend that you've had forever.

I think she got really annoyed but she didn't show it

One day when she was duplicating the girl the was doing it with was kinda rude, so I left, and I haven't seen her since.

We have no way to talk outside of acnl. That's why I crashed her town.

I've crashed and been crashed. Usually when I crash a town, it's either by accident with someone I've traded with before, or it's on purpose to visit a friend. My friends also tend to crash my town when I'm in the middle of a trade. (Which ends up with me kicking them out eventually xD)

I don't think anybody is crashing anyone's towns? Whats wrong with going to a town when someones gate is open? Big deal, I do it all the time. That's the whole point of the Animal Crossing online play, you can visit anyone's town if their gates are open. It's quite silly having to ask permission every time you go to somebodies town because it makes me feel like I am not welcome in their town. Animal Crossing is supposed to be friendly and fun, not getting booted offline or sent home most of the time.

True! But sometimes if someone is trading with someone they have no choice but to keep their gates open :/ personally if i had my gates open for a trade and someone came in i would be kind of worried.

I would be worried too. But I will jusy keep a very close eye on the person and not worry about sending everyone home because of sudden guest arrival. That's the way it should be for everyone.

I really don't remember if I crashed into someone's town but people crashed into my town MANY times, good times

I was going to do a trade. I would bring three items to her town and choose three items that she had laying around.I arrived and dropped my three items. Everytime I tried to take one of her items, she would say I couldn't have it. I started to get very frustrated. She wouldn't let me have anything.After a few minutes, i realized I was in the wrong town. Luckily, she was very nice and understanding. She even went out of her way to catch some scallops so she could give me a pascal item that I had asked for when I crashed her town. She surprized me with it a week later.

back when it was acceptable i used to all the time, i'd also get crashed a ton. it was just an understanding between my friends that if my gates are open i want you over.

I did crash into one person's town once. But it was to get rid of Katie. Unfortunately, she dropped her ticket before getting on the train, making her get off the train, and making me go to that town without her. This was Milly's town.

one time my friend and I had my town opened and I was waiting for a trade when someone just crashed my town and I thought it was the trader so I started talking to her hahah I was like "YAY YOU'RE FINALLY HERE!!!!" ....................
