I'll start off with my elven costume inspired by Lord of the Rings. I didn't go as a specific elf but i tried to follow the Arwen vibe hehe My mother helped me mostly with the satin dress, it took us about two months but was defiantly worth it. I wore this to Oz Comicon 2014 and got a lot of attention in it! Please share yours!!!

I've cosplayed a few times. I really enjoy going to anime conventions, but I don't dress up for each one. A lot of the cosplay online is pretty expensive and I'm pretty cheap when it comes to buying one. I've dressed up as mainly Kagame from Kuroko no Basket. I'm going to a convention next year in the summer called Colossalcon and I might cosplay as Marth for that one.

Yeah, I normally cosplay every 2-3 years. I can't afford to cosplay every year, that ****'s expensive haha :'(

Yep! I cosplayed as Mary Kozakura at a comicon last month! >u< I made my own outfit, and it turned out to be really nice, and barely cost anything!

I've been saving up pieces for a cosplay of Blind Mag from Repo The Genetic Opera, but I still have a lot of pieces I need for it. So far I have most of what I need for the skirt and a corset, I still need red/black feathers, a wig(or to dye my hair black), contacts, and finger armor with long points. I also have a cape that I can wear with it although not true to the Chromaggia scene, she does wear one in other parts of the movie.

I've never really had the opportunity to Cosplay before, we don't have any Cosplay events or expos or cons here to even motivate me to Cosplay. Plus, it costs money, something I don't have much lol.

I'd love to, sometime though, I have a lot of ideas that I can pull off and a lot of characters I'm itching to Cosplay as.

Oh trust me I will haha, been planning to since a while. I've heard about the Cosplay events I'm Straya though, they're really good! Have a few Aussie friends who attend whatever they can.

Yeah definitely <: it's pretty pricey though, like I said so I'll probably be going for something easy and fun to do.. Like a character from Assassin's Creed or whatever

A bit. I've cosplayed as Fluttershy and Lucia from Lunar: Eternal Blue. I have current plans to cosplay The Baroness from Borderlands The Presequel. One, I love her character and two, every time I see an Elsa cosplayer, I'm going to shout out, "Let it go now!" like The Baroness does in-game.

Should be fun.

My friend cosplayed for Ponycon and she said it was one of the greatest experiences she's ever had at a con simply because she cosplayed.

I cosplayed as Red Riding Annie from League of Legends and I had to wait for my friend to get off work at McDonalds and I was just awkwardly sitting there like I'm on a date with a huge teddybear

I cosplayed once at an animethon and wore a cage around my waist and thought my butt was sagging. It was really fun but I think I'll just enjoy looking at many well dressed cosplays as a way to be part of the whole community. I still wanted to cosplay as sailor moon though

woo i love cosplay! most of mine have been homestuck related; rose, dave, jade, roxy, dirk, karkat, kankri, aradia, aradiasprite, tavros (regular + god tier), fairy vriska and gamzee. i've also done hazama and kazuma from blazblue and baka ki el dogura from level e. don't have a lot of good pics, but here are a few.

I cosplayed once - it didn't end well.

I cosplayed Tom from Ruby Quest. He's based off the AC villager, but for reference of how he looks in Ruby Quest:

I got most of the cosplay actually going pretty well, but I screwed up with the contact, by ordering it from a really bad site.
From the moment I put this thing in, the contact began to fuse with my eye without my knowledge and as the day went on my eye grew more and more irritated.

After about 3 hours I got really frustrated with it, went into a bathroom, and tore it out of my eye which was, by this point, very red and was something I could no longer see out of. I read online later that someone had a similar experience with these contacts, but left them in for a lot longer and went blind in that eye.


TL;DR- Don't buy contacts without a prescription.

not yet, but i will be in 2016. just never found the time for cosplaying. with my friends, we'll be cosplaying as the witches from the coven in AHS season 3. i'll be cosplaying as zoe and for some reason one of the guys in our friend group decided to cosplay as madison?? im sure he'd make a perfect woman with his unshaved legs though
