Have you caught reset fever?

Not counting map-resets (e.g., I reset when I was still on the train cos I didn't like any of the maps offered 
), I've reset once in my main town, after about an hour or two, when I decided I really didn't like the layout. Since then, nothing in the main. I'm going to be resetting my alt within the next few days though, after about 3 weeks, because I decided I hate the layout. >__>; I really need to better about deciding whether or not I like layouts at the start, hah.

I haven't reset yet, but I want to just for the sake of a fresh start..
I've reset tons of times. It took me FOREVER to find my current map. I started resetting around the end of June for the map that I have now, because I was so dang picky. I even quit playing ACNL for a few weeks because it was super tiring and extremely annoying when all I saw was map after map after map, never getting to enjoy the game. I would reset constantly for up to 3 hours at a time. At one point I almost chose a map and stuck with it, but I thought 'You've waited this long, why not just keep going until you find it?' so on August 30th, I finally found the town of my dreams. I've had it for exactly a month now, and I have absolutely NO desire to restart what-so-ever. This is the longest (Sad, I know) that I've kept a town, and I plan on keeping it for.. ever, I hope. Maybe I'll purchase another copy when the day comes that I want 'a fresh start' or whatever, or if I feel like resetting, but.. The town I have now is extremely special to me, and it took a longgggg time to find it. So I'm not ever going to demolish it. Sometime in the future, it'll be fun to open my 3DS and check out the town I created back in 2013. :3 Memories have been created in my town, ones I don't want to let go of. So no. I'm not resetting.
But yes. I had the reset fever. A very, very, very bad, OCD-ish case of it. Ugh. Just thinking about all that time I spent looking for this town makes me nauseous. But it was truly worth it, I wouldn't change a thing.

I love my town for the work I've put into it, but I really hate the layout (there's very little room for PWPs at this point), so I'm thinking about resetting. I was less influenced by others saying they were resetting and more influenced by seeing other people's maps and what they've done with all the space in their towns. I'm not sure if I'll actually reset or just buy a second copy, though. I'm really tight on money so I'm leaning towards resetting. ):

I haven't reset. I have put to much time and work into my original main town. I am, however, buying a new copy of NL today.

Haven't reset. I put so much effort into my town it would seem like such a waste. If I don't like something I try to make it work. I get used to it eventually and forget that it was even a problem.

I had the resetting bug for about two weeks because to me, none of the towns matched up to my old one. Once I found one I really liked on Monday, I like it more than my original!

I reset on day 3 in my original town because I hated all my villagers except three and I just hated the whole layout. Couldn't deal with it so I reset. Got a great layout, Merengue as my starting Normal, and my favorite fruit! So glad I reset.
Villagers in my original town: Annalise (who I hope to have in Luna one day), Gayle, Lucky, Hippeux, Apple, Bud, and a plot of land had appeared for Phoebe the day I reset.
My original 10 in Luna: Elvis, Jeremiah, Maelle, Merengue, Bubbles, Kyle, Shari, Skye, Curly, Blanche

I kinda hate my town layout but I've grown to work with it and get the houses and my PWP and paths in a good position. So I wouldn't dare to reset my town, especially since I've worked so hard on it now and finally gotten it right.

I've reset quite a bit, actually... It's sort of a bad habit I had, but I recently broke. I'm sort of just enjoying the game for what it is right now, instead of focusing on all the small details.
I haven't reset and I busted my butt to get 4 fully paid off houses and all the bells I saved from turnips and bug hunting...I would only reset if I put the game down for many months/years to make it fresh again. No chance of resetting right now though.

I haven't reset once this time around, I blame it on the fact that I got the game around release and I just always liked being ahead of those who didn't. Getting new stores and such. I consider myself involved in the community so I look at those type of things. I wouldn't want to reset to lose that type of progress, however I might consider buying the digital version and just letting that one be my 'for fun' town that I can reset as I please since I always reset in past games.
