When people are rude, I always try to shift my perspective and consider why they might be rude. I work in a coffee shop in the city I live in (I found it especially amusing when I found out I could work at Brewster's) and I have to deal with the general public on a daily basis. There is a fairly large amount of rude customers every day, but I just let whatever initial emotion I feel go and focus on thoughts like "maybe they had a bad day at work/don't like their job/had a personal problem". I have had bad days and acted in ways I shouldn't, so I feel like I shouldn't hold people to a higher standard than I hold myself. Meeting anger with anger doesn't usually help anyone. This is just how I feel though.

don't want to name any names but was this the dude banned from /r/adoptmyvillager?
i know how you feel bro, they set up a giveaway for lolly and i was the first person to respond.
I waited for a week to hear back from them, they didn't close the giveaway or anything.
When I saw another giveaway of their's the first claimant had been waiting for three days and they had enough courage to bump it up.
I told them in the nicest way possible this person had left me hanging so I'd not suggest adopting from them.
The person with the villager saw my comment, replied with the RUDEST thing I've ever seen. [mods must've deleted the thread so i'll put what i can remember:
"im tired of you, if you want me to give you all the villagers you want be polite and buy me a freaking house next to yours, you impatient {something}"
i immediately send them a VM because I felt like this wasn't right. I tried to be as nice as possible and sugar coat itbecause this guy seemed like a bit of a jerk. here is the convo:

I was online when this person posted the thread. I waited a solid week straight, straight after school, I'd check if they sent me anything. Straight before bed, straight after waking up. Nothing.
This person is the most impudent scumbag I've ever seen and I hope they realise their mistake.
Moreover, I've just found out they refuse to give a villager away to anyone who isn't on the East Coast of the USA. Even if that person is on when they post, even if they're the first person and the villager is their dreamie-THEY ARE TIMEZONE-IST.

Okay, so I agreed on an art trade with this person. I literally bowed down to them because their art is so awesome. I asked if they'd consider an art trade and they agreed.
I tried so hard on the art, I was so scared I'd get it wrong. I kept on telling them I was scared and they were like "Haha, don't worry about it"
When I eventually got it up, they replied with an "Oh wow, that's so cute! I'll get your part done soon."
Great, right?
Until I checked back on the thread a few minutes later and they edited it to "Oh wow, that's so cute! Thank you very much."
Their thread clearly stated Art Trade. An Art Trade does not mean run away with my art even if it is crappy, it means YOU do YOUR part when I have done MINE.

Ah, well, if this person's name is two words and they have a 98% rating, that's them. You should know who I'm talking about if you do a quick sweep of their page.
They were banned from /r/adoptmyvillager for being rude to members, staff, and they were adopting villagers from giveaways with the intent of "passing them on" here.
It was on this site, yep. Fortunately they're not as active as they were but I can't see how anyone would trade with them without getting themselves in a tizzy.
On Club Tortimer there was this girl who especially stood out.

Yup, the user I'm talking about had 2 names in their user. I think they mostly hang out in the Villager Trading Plaza, but I'm not really sure since I don't go their that often anymore.

I think on the whole I've kinda kept my cool but sometimes I have just lost it if I'm honest.
As a cycler you do really start to hate a lot of people who are just so rude and demanding of things you are spending hours of your time on to give them for free. I've seen people be absolutely vile to others in things like auctions and that is literally the only time I've ever snapped back at them. I quite often used to chip in for people that had less money than the top bidders who are often the most arrogant and irritating things uGHH
I'm also set on giving people in that situation their villager for free because I just generally dislike auctions ahah
I've only really had one villager "stolen" from me when I was trying to trade, but I don't think I was rude back to that person. They haven't been active since that happened :")

Some people here are just rude. I'm not that great at spelling. I'm not english, so one time I made a mistake and some members here flipped cause I said 'none hybridflowers' and they said it was 'non' so he got mad. Anyway, one user here was trying to report me cause I said I didn't like Rocket. She told everyone I didn't like Rocket so there was a group of people against me that said all this stuff. I mean, she only gets angry on me because I say just some normal stuff like everyone else. Anyway, I'm not rude. Sometimes I get angry but that's only when people like that girl are saying bull****.
I think everyone experienced some rude members here. It's part of a website, and if you don't say anything back they will stop being rude to you.
