usually i wait a few weeks after a game that i want comes out, but on the day that yokai watch came out i was literally the first person in gamestop, i arrived at the mall at the same time it opened ;}

one time i did go into a toystore a few min right after it opened for pokemon alpha sapphire only to be disappointed that i didnt reserve it cuz it was something like all the people who reserve it or first come got a special pokemon dlc pink diamond pokemon but then they were like "yeah only for the people who reserved". TT-TT also didnt like it as much as i did as pokemon x so mweh. i also freaked out when acnl came out and i only got it after 6 days or something so that was pretty fast but not exactly first and also got achhd pretty fast. xD other than that not really.

i got fire emblem: fates on release day at a toysRus. when i asked for it, the guy there didn't even know they had it in stock. nobody even pre-ordered, so i got the first one from there ^^

Not really, I got the Wii when it came out but I wasn't first in line.

I've got a few games on the day of release: Pokemon Omega Ruby, Animal Crossing New Leaf and Uncharted 4, but because of school ive never been first (although I got to get Omega Ruby at like, 10am as I had a dentist appointment)

i think it was Pokemon XY (or maybe black and white?) But we were the first at Wal-mart to get 'em. They didn't have the game on the shelves yet and we had to ask employees

I've been like 3rd or 4th in line when it came to Amiibos (I really wanted Robin and Lucina), but I typically don't bother being first in/first out when it comes to new stuff.

I don't think so really, or I don't check. I have pre-ordered some games in stores but they were like mainstream things so I don't think I was 1st anyways.

I went on the day to grab Happy Home Designer and Alpha Sapphire!

I have never been first in line cause it isn't necessary where I live. If I were in Toronto, I probably would need to.

Oh and I also went on the day to grab Kirby Planet Robobot too!

It's rare that I'll rush out for a new game since it's so rare something ever actually sells out, which I would think is the main reason to be first in line. I just go 'some time' during release day, if I buy something on release.

Plus I get about half my games online these days...I guess I'm first in line to my front door when the postman arrives.
