I have a few recorded things that happened that I think we're kinda funny. I have a lot of screenshots and series of screenshots that are really funny too I just don't have the patience to look through them and figure out how to get them off the ds and onto my computer

I already have shared this one but in case you haven't seen it lol

Twiggy: has gift
Months later
Me: talking to twiggy
Twiggy: offered me a Jacob ladder
Me: accepts




Me: sees Winnie watering my roses then goes to talk to her
Winnie: tells me what is in her can is a peach drink
Awkward pause
Winnie: puts the watering can in her pocket and walks away

I find that Ed is just a naturally humorous neighbor. I've taken a lot of screenshots of things he's said, but I too need to get off my butt and figure out how to dump the images! The things he says while we chat and the letters we send never fail to give me a chuckle.

One thing he's doing right now is driving me nuts with his clothing. My neighbors seem really fond of my custom-designed shirts, and Ed's presently wearing one that I made which also has a drawing of a tail on the backside (as it's meant to emulate a Sonic character). So while he's wearing this shirt, you can clearly see the drawn fluffy tail overtop of his actual horse tail, and he just looks ridiculous! What makes me shake my head even more is I keep mailing him shirts hoping he'll change into a new one, but he just keeps storing them in his house instead. I think the last time I went to his place he had like 4 shirts that I've mailed him on display!

If they're wearing a custom shirt (not a random one from the store) you can go to Isabelle and report a villager > clothes and she'll ask if you want her to tell the villager to change their clothes he will however end up in a random outfit which also might look dumb, it's not their original clothes unfortunately.

Also I just remembered once on Tumblr someone posted an amazing screenshot. They were talking to a camper that had come to town, and the camper had challenged them to a game. They were at the part where the camper will say "If you win, you get my [X], but if I win, I get your [Y]!" and it just so happened that an item they had in their inventory made this both hilarious and terrifying. This random camper told them:

"If you win, you get my [whatever], but if I win, I get your skeleton!"

I believe the user commented under the screenshot, "This game is too high-stakes for me."

Soooo I was just catching up on my game, and I'm still on last night (I work weird hours that don't allow me to play in real time), which was the first fireworks show for this month. Isabelle gave me some fireworks, and I went looking for neighbors to light them off with to be a bit more festive. I ran into Phoebe, who happens to be my favorite villager ever, and I thought, of course I'd like to share my fountain firework with her! So I select it and set it off, and my character throws it... directly between Phoebe's feet. And it starts lighting off, and Phoebe was engulfed in sparks!! Here I am going "NO NO NO NO NO!" but Phoebe didn't even notice and kept dancing and clapping for the fireworks in the sky. She actually stood there for the entire fountain and only walked away when it was finished.

What's funny is that I've often compared to a phoenix with her feather type and patterning (I mean I'm sure that's how she got her name). I guess after tonight she lived up to the idea!
