Since summertime began and school got out I've had a lot of time on my hands: and that means a lot of time to look back and cringe at old memories.. being the extremely awkward human being that I am, yikes, there are a lot of them.
At the beginning of last year I had to take P.E. so I could earn the credit and let's just say I'm not the most athletically inclined person.
My teacher had broken his shoulder and didn't show up for about a month after school started so we were stuck with a substitute. The substitute was requested to make our class run the mile, so he dragged us all out to the track. Keep in mind that it was about 90 degrees outside and my class was composed entirely of sweaty 9th graders, so running laps around an asphalt track was pretty terrible
After about my third lap I started getting really tired but I kept on going. I was a couple feet from crossing the end line when I lost my balance (and also one of my shoes xD) and fell face first on the track.
The substitute ran over to make sure I was okay.. My knees were scraped up pretty badly, but otherwise I was fine.
So for the rest of the year I was known as that one girl who fell down on the track during the first week of class.
And whenever I saw the substitute that was substituting for my class that day he would ask me "how are those knees?" XD
Does anyone have any cringy stories so I don't have to be awkward alone? XD
