Eh, occasionally. I try my best not to, and my daily journal events will be in order. But sometimes I will TT ahead to cycle someone out or for terraforming purposes(like moving the buildings around). And I suspect I will try to use the campsite method at one point or another too. But I will always go back to the original date when I'm done and all my playtime will be in 'real life time'!

Nope! I want one of each villager personality, but the last two I wanna keep as cycling slots to keep things fresh!

And so it begins! After approx 140 hours in the game, some of it spent telling myself that I will come to terms with having two south river exits and resident services + the airport being very close together, that it will be fine and I will resist the urge to reset, after all I know how New Leaf ended up, I decided to just reset. Losing out on my villagers, some of them being dreamies and the DIY recipes really sucked, but, I can always get them back later.

Getting the kind of map I wanted was surprisingly difficult however, I would have liked a west river, with airport & resident services being in line with one another (but further apart than my last one). In the end after having reset for a couple of hours with no such map in sight, I ended up going for this one!:

It's pretty close to what I wanted, aside the obvious 'oh but the river is east'. Which is fine, just means I have to mirror the ideas I had for my west river exit, which is fairly managable. My native fruit is cherries, which is fair enough, not quite as good as peaches, but it's up there for me. And getting Reneigh as a starting villager is pretty great to me too! I think the native flower is windflowers, but, as I can't see the cliffs properly I'm not 100% sure of that one.

Other than that I just spent the time rushing through the first day, getting enough Nook Miles to pay of my tent so I'll have my house on day 2 and donating enough creatures so I get to place Blathers tent! (And hoarding many more outside where his tent will be so I can donate them later!

I haven't really had time to play today, so, pretty much all I did was put down a small crafting area and then donate some of the things outside the museum tent to Blathers, so he can start building the proper museum tomorrow! Wanted to grind some nook miles so I could grab materials for the shop upgrade at mystery tour, but didn't really have time so that'll have to wait for tomorrow! Sorry Timmy and Tommy ;w;​

Most of today ended up being me going to my friends to pick up the items I dropped on his beach before resetting. Never really realised how much stuff I dropped until I had to pick it all up again, considering how my inventory is smaller now, I think it ended up being 15 trips or something absurd like that. Feels a bit odd not having my large storage space and inventory space and the shops that I used to, but, glad I reset now before I properly started terraforming on my old island, getting back to where I was shouldn't take me too long.

Found my first visiter snoozing on my beach, but pickled-herring pizza!? Gulliver, why do you terrify me like that, that sounds awful.

Went on my first ever mystery island tour to finish getting mats for my shop upgrade and found Coco! Immediatley asked her to come to mine, so now I just gotta wait for the game to let me put up more plots for villagers and hopefully she'll move in!
