Yes, TT to the exact day you last played, or even a few days before that if you aren't sure, and just play day by day. OR find whoever wants to move, tellem to stay, and then tt 4 days. Then find whoever wants to move next. If nobody moves after the first 4 days I usually tt one day at a time till someone wants to move again, and then I tt 4 days. There always seems to be a 4 day grace period right after someone pings you to leave.

If you stopped the mover you can go with the date last played or the date Isabelle gives you.
Since you stopped a mover no on can move until you play again. If you go with Isabelle date and it's been awhile get the where have you been out of the way and look for a mover thru a ping or a rumor. Stop them. Make sure to talk to all the villagers so you don't have them asking where you were the next day.

I've stopped a mover, jumped 3 months ahead and the town was fine. I do have beautiful on so the flowers were still there.
In ten minutes Boomer sold out the mover and it got stopped.
