Has your teacher sprung something on you last minute, and then expected you to go and have it done at OVER 9,000 percent?

Ok, so for the past two days I have been home sick. I just went back to school today and I got a bunch of crappy make-up work. So I go into English class and my crazy ADD teacher Mrs. G, comes up to me and is like "Oh yay! Your here Today! I'm so glad!" Now I thought she was just being her usual over-energeticself, but then she went on to say, "I wanted to know if you could organize the party for Shakespeare's birthday!" and being the idiot I am, I said "Sure! When is it?" "Tomorrow." Yes, tomorrow. Now take into account how much work goes into throwing a party for anything, even a stupid school party, and times that by my Math, AP Euro, and Bio makeup work and regular homework I need to do. What do you get? A ****-load of work that's what! And Mrs. G expects 110% on everything.

This was never meant to be a complaining topic, I just thought I would give you the story to why i decided to ask this question: Has your teacher sprung something on you last minute, and then expected you to go and have it done at OVER 9,000 percent?

Yeah my teacher assigned a butt load of assignments that are due the week we return from Spring Break which was last week. Who in their right mind does homework over Spring Break? The whole point of break it to get away from school and work... not to have it loom over you until it gets done! =o
