Has Your Data Corrupted Before in ACNL?

So I was wondering whether the majority of TBT members has had their ACNL data corrupted before, and if the data corruption was with a digital software of ACNL or with the carriage one. For me, I have never gotten my data corrupted before, and I use the carriage. This poll/thread may help us know the reason of data corruption. Feel free to post your thoughts, opinions, and stories below.

I haven't yet. I use a cartridge and I accidentally removed it from my 3DS in the middle of playing yesterday. I almost had a heart attack when I reloaded the game and it took longer than normal lmao (I did lose a ton of bells I got from selling fish since I hadn't saved yet but that's ok)

It seems to happen a lot when people do the plot/campsite reset trick tbh. I've read that too much quitting without saving can corrupt your game and it's happened a lot
