Last night, something weird happened to me in ACNL. I just finished beetle hunting so I wanted to sell them. I was standing outside Re-tail, about to open the door, when a big, black spider attacked me, and I supposed, bit me. I fell on the ground, and ended in front of my house!!!! I wanted to take a picture of the spider to have proof but it happened so fast and, frankly, I was too shocked :-/ Has this ever happened to you?
Yes this is what's suppose to happen, it is a tarantula and it will bite you if you bother it. There is also a scorpion that will sting you and you will end up in front of your house. It's not a big deal c:
Tarantulas, bro, tarantulas. If you have a net out, they're ruthless! They TERRIFIED me back when I was a kid playing Wild World. As long as you don't have your net out, though, they won't go after you c;
Tarantula's and scorpions will do this, if it's the season for them you have to watch out, I believe they're only at night and they're rare and HARD TO CATCH! If you've got your net out and they see you they'll attack, so when you do catch them you have to sneak SUPER SLOW and not let them see you, they do this weird turning thing where they peak at you... it's creepy and awful and I still haven't caught one... >.<
They scared me so much the first time I ran into them! And then it took a couple of times before I was brave enough not to do a u-turn and leg it for my house (some pretty flowers poofed during my sprints), eventually I did catch a scorpion, but it's very hard as you have to sneak slowly and be completely still if they look at you.
Oh, wow. If you're seeing tarantulas it must be June in your town. I know how hard they are to catch, but I want one for my home. Most of them are actually quite docile in real life (which is why they're the most popular spider to have as a pet), and only the really aggressive ones will bite.
Oh goodness, that's never happened to me but I have this horrible fear of bugs and spiders. I think I'd just slam my DS shut as soon as I saw it >.< That sounds so freaky.
The first time this happened to me in Wild World as an 8 years old, I couldn't sleep all night. Luckily it was one of those summer nights when nothing mattered, so I spent next day taking naps and I slept normally the next night.
The first time I saw one I was just walking past the train station and I saw a black thing sitting next to the grass. I thought, "What is that? Should I try to catch it?" I armed my net and swung and missed. Then it jumped at me and everything went black. I finally caught one about a month later after much late-night hunting.
