Has anyone tried to make a giant circle of water?

I'm redoing my ENTIRE town and I want to know, if anyone has done ( or tried ) to make a giant circle of water. Not filled in like a pond though. This circle would take up almost all my island as I want to attempt to MAYBE make a giant pentagram.

It'll take a lot of trial and error and I just want to see what it may look like. Without spending forever just for it to look like bologna

It's a "hand-drawn" designer though, so it's very messy unless you're talented.

i've tried it before once i unlocked terraforming!!,, ended up undoing it as i wanted more room for future decorations lmao
