Um, I like to think that I never really seriously considered it, but rather in some drunken rage I may have.
My life is much too important to end. I have friends, family, and a career. People talk about hurting themselves or actually do so for attention- I know, because I've done it (drunk or not).
You see, when you look at the big picture, committing suicide just isn't the answer. You might think the reasons you have for hurting yourself now are viable, but ten years from now, they won't be.
