Has anyone maxed out their house storage once it's fully upgraded?

Yep. I made a second character and offload a lot to her, but I’m still constantly hitting that limit. Clothes are the biggest problem. I did sell all my colder weather clothes, but there are so many cute summer clothes and shoes! Also, I have too many crafting materials.

i have like 1400 items on my main player storage but recently made another full upgraded house cuz i wanted to design more rooms
so i started using it as storage. having another house is nice, more storage, more redd, more guliver/arr

Um, i have a 2nd character that I created for storage and we are both maxed out.

When I first started I would buy every item from nooks and as a result I have lots of furniture that I would realistically never use. >_<
I'm currently around 1500 or so and I made another character on my island just so I could have extra storage and I'm selling most of the reorderable furniture/clothing back to the nooklings

I've been bumping into the limit for months. I'm also completely overflowing on flowers. I already had a second switch, so I decided recently just to bit the bullet and get a second (used) copy of the game, to store flowers and do silly things with. It's probably where I'll keep a lot of the stuff that I don't have a use for, but also can't get a second time.

No, not even close. Even my nl storage still has lots of empty space to this day. How did you max it, do you keep all and everything?! XD

Nope, too few items I like(and in general, lol bad devs) and I haven't gotten that much unorderables either.

I maxed out mine, then started burying wood on my beaches, then created a second character and got that house upgraded to maximum storage. Was good for awhile but now i am hitting the max again. I really need to get to clearing out all the furniture and clothes i will never use

mine isn't fully maxed out right now but it has been. it's often close to being full, but then i just look through it and sell what I don't need. I just like keeping things on hand because I trade often and people often want the same things, so I keep them for people to catalog.

I also have quite a lot of fish in my inventory, waiting on CJ to visit so I can finally make models! will save 3x in fish space lol

I also keep my NMT in my storage, I think I have close to 200 right now so that's about 20 spots gone too. same for star fragments and materials, they take up quite some space too

oh and clothes! but I try to remove things I never use

I do also have a second house, but it's more for decorating purpose then for storage, I think that house currently has maybe 150 items stored

There's a long weekend coming up, so I'm planning on sitting down for a few hours to purge my storage of the items I don't use but keep around because "what if I need this in the future?"
