has anyone in your village ever said they were going to move but didnt?

eunice keeps saying shes going to move but she never does, i keep telling her go, and she says the date shes going to move at but she never leaves? its happened like 3 times already

Marcie the ugly kangaroo told me that she wanted to leave, in the end she didn't even bother to tell me that she was going to stay. Instead, she resumed in her usual spot (RIGHT next to me house...)

If you're okay with TTing..
I usually find the date they're moving on and Time Travel to that date. Sometimes they'll mention it a 2nd time but it's never happened 3 times to me

The opposite's happened to me. In my old town Freya asked if she should move and I CLEARLY remember saying no. three days later she was all packed up....

This happened way too often. I have three other characters and sometimes when I talk to my villagers with them they change their mind about moving. Now I try to ignore them with my other three characters.

If this happens to you just reset and they'll still move on the day they told you before.

Ugh, so frustrating! I preferred it in Wild World when they would randomly just pack up and either you told them to stay or not to stay. If you told them not to stay, they were gone the next day.

If they change their mind whilst moving, just reset the game and try again

I like the new method, makes it more realistic, unlike WW where they suddenly dissapeared at midnight, and just randomnly packed up, not thinking in advance

YES! Gigi did this to me last night! She is not my favorite and I love getting new villagers...I have one villager I really love and hope never leaves but the rest I would be ok with going...Gigi is at the top of the list of villagers I want to leave though and I was bummed when I said Ok bye and she said something like Oh we are such great friends and you would miss me too much I will stay...UGH

Are we talking about villagers who announced and confirmed their departures, but then not leave when they say they're going to? Or are we talking about villagers who announce they're thinking about leaving but subsequently change their mind? I've had villagers change their mind even after I've said it was okay to leave, but I've never had a villager give a confirmation and a date and then not move.

Vic came up to me and said he wanted to move. Then I said "See ya!" and he "saw" me holding back a smile. He then said he would stay and become best friends forever. I was so annoyed!
But I was told to reset and try again and it worked!
