Hello, I was just curious if anyone has any positive feedback for Nookazon. I've only been using it for like a day but it seems like a highly inflated yet saturated market.
Has anyone had a successful transaction? There's a rating system but it still gives me the vibes of a lawless wildland.

I have had some good transactions on there, then again I think it also depends on what you are willing to pay for something. I paid 2 nook mile tickets for a dreamy sweater. I was very happy with the trade. Some may think that's high? xD; Not sure. But I had a good experience. Though yes they do charge outragous amounts at times. Depends on the user.

I have traded successfully there (no scam attempts), and I met a really nice trader who crafted me seasonal items for free. Those are gems though. Sometimes they don't even reply. x: ACNH Discord is probably worse because there's no rating system whatsoever.

I used it for the first time yesterday and someone gave me Kidd for free! (one of my dreamies) and then I traded 20 black tulips for 2 NMT.

It was surprisingly fast too (both sellers contacted me within minutes) and both were very nice, the person who gave me the tulips gave me two free presents as well!

It seems kind of crazy at first but it's actually not a bad website at all

i agree, it's pretty inflated though i have actually yet to be scammed and i've been on nookazon for about a month. a lot of the people i've come across are actually super sweet and all of my trades have been successful even with those that have yet to be reviewed.

with that being said tho, it's absolutely important that you always watch out for yourself to prevent scamming. also some trades may never be completed as the seller may not answer back, but i believe their rating system is pretty good too.

^^^ i agree, trades are pretty quick but for the most part it's not a bad trading website and you'll meet lot of friendly people as well. c:

This omg.. The discord is the most chaotic out of all the trading sites I've been on. People on discord sell things for the highest prices I've seen too.

I have. I’ve bought and sold items/recipes and villagers there and I feel like things usually go fast. I rarely did offer on there though because like you said it felt over inflated :/ I would just post that I’m looking for ____ and what I’m offering.
It’s good for ‘reputation’ too! I don’t buy expensive/rare items/villagers from people with low or no reviews.

I have bought a couple things off there, but since it doesn't have a messaging/mobile notification system (outside of discord), I think it can be hit or miss. It kind of depends on whether the seller is online and how often they check it.

It's been pretty decent for me! Except for high value villager transactions. I posted Judy on the discord, I wasn't looking for that much tbh but someone offered me 650 NMT. I told them that I would wait until they had an empty plot, they said they did. I TT'd her out and was ghosted lmao, I'm sure it was just someone playing a joke. When they offered 650 NMT I was going to ask if they could provide proof but didn't want to be rude. I ended up selling her to someone else there for a lower price, but I was happy because it was someone who really wanted her, who might not be able to afford her in a higher auction.

the nookazon discord is a nightmare because of the sheer number of people on it.
but i've only had good transactions through the actual nookazon website. never had any scams or had to deal with rude people. sometimes people don't reply so i usually just message someone else. just mildly annoying but nothing too bad tbh!

To be honest I have mixed opinions. I used it to help me complete my DIY collection when I was left with just some of the rarer crowns and wreaths to collect. I used the rating system to help me be selective about sellers and I can say that none of my trades were negative or bad experiences. My issue was that I definitely paid over the odds for several items, up to 30 or so NMT for a single DIY recipe. On the flip side though, I managed to get all the crowns and wreath DIYs I needed in a night and I’m not sure I’d have managed that elsewhere!

I'm not exempt from trading very outrageous amounts though. However, I only did it because people were willing. I sold a seasonal recipe for 150 NMT. I gauge my prices according to the website, however. Here, I would sell it for 10 NMT. LOL.

Oh, yes! We have to also account for accessibility for items. Was searching tirelessly for a pink humidifier on this site. I didn't get it until I used Nookazon.

ive had good transactions so far!
except today someone messaged me on discord asking for an item I had listed even though I stated to make an offer first, then message me. I explained this to her because it's in my 'bio'.
she then went on to say "boooo bad service. Im rating you a 1 star" and then blocked me.

Made me roll my eyes tbh

i saw someone once charge 50 gold ores, like 200 nmt tickets, 15 million bells and 3 villagers for one raymond. theres a lot of trolls on there, i think

yes! i can vouch fully for the discord and the website! nothing but good things to say about it honestly

some highlights:

- almost every trade I've made has gone smoothly, I have done dozens, probably cracked 100 trades on there (dozens of villager and item trades) and all but 1 have gone smoothly (somebody attempted to scam, I errored out, all peachy)

- I asked somebody if I could buy their black roses for 3mil. they said that since no one seemed to want them, they gave them all to me for free and threw in 2 gold roses and 2 gold watering cans ALL FOR FREE

- I offered 150nmt, any villager of their choice and a hefty sum of bells for Judy, person said they felt bad and said I could have her for 50nmt. I eagerly accepted and I got her in minutes for just 50nmt ;-; I'll never stop being grateful for that

- it's the most convenient place around. if there's an item you want, you can search it on there and if you have the right amount of dosh you can get it within minutes since people on there are usually super quick to respond. I will admit it's a bit bonkers with the nmt sitch rn tho, but that's not through fault of the website

there definitely are some bad apples on there, I'm sure. but the good outweighs the bad and as long as you always have your guard up, you have nothing to worry about! most people on there are super sweet and kind

I pretty much just use it as a last resort, but it is super speedy.

I was trying to sell a villager but things were going pretty slow on TBT/Discord. I had someone offer 50 NMT for Maple then back out of their own offer less than 10 minutes after I accepted it. Immediately after, someone else offered 2M bells for her. I personally prefer bells over NMT, so I took that offer and the buyer arrived shortly after. We did half up front, half after he got her (I wasn't expecting anywhere near that amount, so I would have been fine even if I did get scammed out of the second half 😂), but he was a polite and timely buyer who paid and even left a tip of 99K bells on his way out.

The entire thing from listing Maple to getting her sold took not even half an hour, and that's including the first offer falling through. There are SO many people using that site. I don't think I'd use it for something like a villager for villager trade (to be honest, I'd only use TBT for that), but it's fine for things where you can see the payment beforehand.

Hope this helped!

i use it sometimes and for the most part it's been ok! i've been lucky enough to run into mostly nice people on there. i highly prefer trading here, but if you need something quick and are willing to pay more (usually) nookazon is definitely the way to go. i noticed that there's a lack of trading etiquette observed on nookazon, but i think that's to be expected given the sheer amount of people who use it and may be new to trading/animal crossing. i like that there's a feedback system, but it doesn't feel as reliable as the one here. sometimes i see people leave a 1* review just because the seller's offline and hasn't gotten back to them in like 5 mins LOL all in all i think it's the most convenient and as other people have said there's plenty of good people on there.
