...as in, "i've been campsite resetting for skye who i've never even seen in-game before my whole life for two weeks"?

Because that's what's happening.
And you know,
frankly,
I've given up.

So now I'm moving out my only normal villager, and then another villager afterwards soon, so I'll only get normal personality move-ins. until i get skye, then i get her into boxes, and then get my friend's 3DS tomorrow to transfer her.

I can almost hear the gasps of disbelief.
Honor me.

No but seriously. Anyone else ever done this before? I don't want to feel so gross about myself. But also, I want to know about anything wrong that can happen so I don't screw it up and lose her. D:

Lol don't worry, I used to do this all the time. I got Skye that way in my old town.

If you want, you can look for giveaway, cycle or auction threads that may have her. May be expensive but certainly less tedious. I got all my dreamies that way too bad Chief accidentally got put into boxes today though...

Ugh trust me, I do @_@ but I've done that for Roscoe and we haven't even done the trade yet because we literally are in opposite timezones and it's hell, basically. D:

And oh Skye. can people even get her without cheating? xD and yeah, i'm sorry to hear that D: i read your thread. i can hold him if the other person before decides they can't, though!

it's not tedious, honestly. TTing out villagers is like my secret power or something. xD

And you're so lucky! I suck at TT villagers out. I either mess it up (as clearly seen today) or it takes FOREVER. One time I spent a total of 12 hours trying to TT punchy out for someone.

Aha no you should be proud of that ability!

Usually what I do is make sure no one is moving, TT 6 days ahead and then TT 6 days back. It counts as a week without anybody noticing you're gone, and at the end of every week a villager wants to move out. A little mind numbing but I guess it gets the job done but OMG I messed up so bad today with Chief... I gotta be more careful.

Skye's amazing. She's my best bud. Got her off a giveaway thread. A friend got her naturally, which is how I first met her.

Skye was one of my boyfriend's dreamies. When his sister restarted her town for the umpteenth time, she found Skye as an original villager. She was gonna restart again, but he snatched it and TT'ed until she was in boxes so he could have her. x3

Pretty much, yep. I do it all the time.
Once you're at 8 and expecting only normals to move in...just plot reset the next couple days for her.
