Has anyone collected all the reactions yet?

I still have 7 reactions missing but I was wondering if there was someone out there who has collected all of them and I was wondering how long it takes?

I've found that a villager will run up to me almost every day and teach me a new reaction. I'm at 16 right now. I'd imagine people that time travel very often have collected them all already.

I have very many to go, since I don't TT. I'm honestly fine with waiting to learn new reactions, because the only one I really use is the Greetings one during trades.

yeah, here's the thread I learned that from
really annoying because I don't want any cranky villagers so I'm gonna have to move one in, wait probably months for them to teach me all their reactions and then kick them again. fun times

edit: also interesting to note, from that thread:
they'll teach you the reactions in the order they're listed there. you have to be best friends with them for them to teach you the final reaction

I'm on the complete opposite boat with 3 crankies and no uchis... Here's to deciding if I really want reactions ... >___> why couldn't they just make it so that any villager could teach you a reaction?

Because life is full of compromise, and Animal Crossing reflects a lot of life lessons and sentiments.

If you want the villagers you want, the compromise is that Reactions may be limited. If you choose an island without trees, the compromise is that tree-dwelling Bugs won't visit your island. If you choose to live the hermit life in a tent on the beach your entire play through, the compromise is a limited amount of dwelling space.

Maybe I'm taking this as an opportunity to vent my own frustrations (and they're certainly not aimed at you!) but I do think there is a lot of wanting your cake and eating it with the community and this game.

What!? I didn't know reactions are personality-based. I don't have smug, normal, uchi and snooty...
I really should try and have all personalities in my village...

So, after I read this thread and found out that it IS based off personalities like I originally thought.. I TT'd for 7 hours to max out my friendship with Astrid. I finally got the love reaction but I realized that there are certain levels of the friendship? It also makes me think that certain villager personalities are harder to befriend than others.
After Astrid wanted a suggestion to change her catchphrase, that's whenever I feel like I was really close to maxing out the friendship.
