Has anyone caught a Cicada Shell?

I time traveled to August to catch one and I can't find one for the life of me. I've been searching for like 6 hours now lol. I just need some help from someone who has caught one to tell me where and when they got it

Nope. I have found some cicadas in my village, but I haven't seen them all. I can't remember where can I find the cicada shell.

In nl and in other prior games, they were found on the trees, maybe it’s the same as before?
